Aesir Awakening 2
the Æsir were norse mythology’s gods of power and war. They were said to be the first clan of gods, which include Odin, Thor, Baldur and Tyr. The æsir were at war with the second clan of gods, the vanir. The summer of 2022, I was able to witness the active Meradalir volcano in Iceland. To be so close to such a natural wonder made me feel like the old norse gods were awakening again. The ground rumbled, the air was hot and the clouds were fire red and thunder blue.
